Animal Home Range Analysis Symposium

A one-day symposium highlighting the current research and methods for home range analysis of radio telemetry and GPS collar locations will be held on August 6th from 9:00am to 4:00pm in Gainesville.  FWC, UF’s Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and US Geological Survey SE Ecological Science Center are all working together to provide this exciting symposium.

You will have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits through The Wildlife Society.  You are also invited to sign up to share (10 to 25 minutes) your work using home range studies.

If your work includes home range studies (or might in the future), you will want to register by July 9th at Animal Home Range Workshop Registration.  Find more information in the flyer attached above or by going to Agency Training (look under Course Intent – Technical).  You are also welcome to contact Ryan Butryn (ryan.butryn@myfwc.com) for more information.
