Hey Wildlifers!

 

The University of Florida Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society will be hosting our Annual Wild Game Dinner again this year, on February 27th, 2010 at the Austin Cary Memorial Forest off of Waldo Rd. in Gainesville. This event will feature exotic meats from all over the world - from iguana, caribou, Burmese python, venison, halibut, to gator, bass, water buffalo and pheasant! We will also be holding a raffle with some great prizes! We will also be offering some fun Environmental Education activities for children (and adults) as well.

 

The event will start at 5 pm and be held in the conference center.

Tickets are $15 and are currently being sold in advance. Please see an officer to purchase tickets. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. However, since the conference center only holds roughly 150 people, we can only accommodate that many if we have bad weather. Weather willing, we can accommodate more people with tables and chairs arranged outside and around the facility.

 

In addition, official Beast Feast shirts are also being sold!

Shirts are forest green with the official TWS logo on the front left pocket and Beast Feast design on the back, and are $15.

All ticket and t-shirt orders can be paid in cash or check, made out to: UF Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
